Managed Exchange provides all the benefits of Exchange to individuals or companies for a small monthly fee. It also allows access to your mail, calendar and journal wherever you have access to a computer with an internet connection.
What are the advantages over regular POP email
Regular pop email can usually only be accessed on one computer. And if your account does support a web mail feature, you can only see the new emails which have not been downloaded to your computer. If something should happen to the computer that the email is stored on and the old emails could not be recovered there is now way to retrieve them unless you have a backup of them.
With Managed Exchange all your emails are stored on a server at our office which means you can access all your emails, (this includes previously received emails and sent emails) from any computer in the world that has internet access. And you don't need to worry about backing up your emails either.
Virus Protection and Spam Filtering
At PIP we scan all of your incoming emails for Viruses and spam emails, with our two seperate virus scanning servers which are continually updated. This gives us the best chance of catching a virus when it is released. As an added bonus, with Managed Exchanged servers, your emails are stored on our server which also reduces the chance of your computer being infected by an email virus, due to your computer not
downloading the email to its hard drive.
